I'm Thomas «Bö» Benkö — cyclist at heart, dad at home, based in Zurich. I work as a journalist at the Swiss news site Blick.

As AI Innovation Lead I deal with the future of journalism: I teach reporters to use AI without switching off their brains — and help build the tools we use in the newsroom ourselves.

Every summer solstice I ride 333 kilometres across Switzerland. In one day. Others have started joining, it's an event now: #333km1d. For many riders it's the first long-distance ride of their lives. I'm a little proud of that.

I keep this site for the sake of digital independence on the interwebs. Despite my #Twittlifecrisis I'm more active on the social web — now even on LinkedIn (sic!). My athletic escapades live on Strava.
